How to Disable Updates in QuickBooks?

QuickBooks automatically updates a la test and it automatically switches to the new version. Intuit, the developer of QuickBooks, releases these updates to fix bugs or provide performance improvements. However, if your office Internet connection has limited bandwidth, you can save bandwidth by turning off automatic updates, unless you are using QuickBooks Pro Plus, QuickBooks Premier Plus, or another QuickBooks subscription plan. 

How to Disable Updates in QuickBooks?

1. Open QuickBooks Account and click "Help" on the menu bar.

2. You then click on the "Quickbook Update" option to open the "Update Quickbooks" window.

3. Now you click on the "Options" tab to see the available update options.

4. After this you click on "No" option next to "Automatic Update" and click on "Close" button to close the dialog.
